Project: Bank 5 Headquarters

Design Overview:

The Fall River Five Cents Savings Bank, founded in 1855, has had a presence in downtown City of Fall River for almost two centuries. They are local community bank supporting a diverse urban population.

The additions and renovations to 25,600 sf of a 41,000 sf existing building, includes work place and bank branch design.

The bank branch and corporate office main entry includes a two story glass vestibule, with signage, warm wood finishes and welcoming visibility from the street.

The corporate office work place features a Living room and Work Cafe for employee and guest gathering and day to day use.

A lobby features a glass curve stair feature with vaulted LED light feature above

Design & Site Considerations:

Site features include well lit welcoming walkways, parallel accessible parking located at front entry to branch. Trees planted at the front yard are introduced to filter light into the building, provide greenery to view from building and enhance the urban streetscape.

The bank elected to install electric car chargers at on-site parking spaces and install roof mounted solar arrays on the roof of the building.

Interior Design included a rigorous selection of finish materials, lighting and millwork, and included Special Interiors Services for furniture selection to final details.
