Project: Brewster Veterinary Hospital
Design Overview:
The goal of the renovation and expansion was to update the existing Brewster structure to reflect the quality of the veterinary practices. The project includes expanding the quantity of exam rooms, providing accessible access and overall code compliance and providing a reception area for multiple staff to work simultaneously. The exterior design included new painted clapboards, cedar shingles, windows, and new exam room and entry vestibule additions.
Design & Site Considerations:
The solution included two small additions. The size and location of the additions were partially determined by the local Conservation buffer zones and management of regulatory triggers. All new finishes are throughout the entire first floor. Warm colors and coastal references are seen in the wall paint selections, lighting, flooring, and the reception desk.
The Owner occupied the building throughout the project to provide uninterrupted, and constant services to their clients.
