Nobska Light Work Begins

Kurt Raber joins the Friends of Nobska Light at their “groundbreaking” ceremony on Friday, Sept 15th as work begins on the lighthouse restoration. The team came equipped with paintbrushes rather than shovels as the first phase of work involves addressing peeling paint, corrosion, and broken glass. The tower is encased in scaffolding and a large tarp to control the paint dust once the sanding begins.
